Welcome to our Play Café….. Devastation Station.

Right in the heart of Nottingham’s city centre, our unique play café invites little explorers to discover the city we love — in miniature. Designed for curious children and nostalgic grown-ups alike, our imaginative play space features tiny tributes to some of Nottingham’s most iconic venues, from the legendary Rock City and the creative heart of Nottingham Playhouse, to adventurous climbs inspired by Depot Climbing Nottingham. You might even spot playful nods to local favourites like Machine Mart, the beloved Murat Food Centre, and a colourful miniature of the famous Goose Fair.

While the little ones play, parents, grandparents and childminders can relax and reconnect over delicious, locally sourced food and drink. Whether it’s a proper coffee and a slice of homemade cake, or something heartier like a pint and a classic pork pie, our café is designed to feel like a warm Nottingham welcome for the whole community.

Each play session is hosted by Molly-May — a West End performer turned proud mum — who brings a little theatrical magic to the day. Every session ends with a joyful sing-along and dance, getting everyone involved and sending families home smiling.

Our play café is a space where Nottingham’s culture, creativity and community come together — a place for children to imagine, grown-ups to unwind, and everyone to feel part of the city.
