Maia & John are a Nottingham based acoustic duo known for their heartfelt original music, engaging live shows, and thoughtful, personalised music teaching. Both Maia and John work on their own projects as artists. Maia is a soulful singer-songwriter with influences from pop, jazz, and R&B—her debut releases are on the way. John writes and produces under the name JP Fleming, creating expressive, guitar-driven music with a strong storytelling focus. While they each have their own artistic voice, they regularly write together, blending their ideas into songs that feel honest, musical, and full of heart.
Alongside their artistic work, Maia & John are passionate teachers with years of experience. Maia teaches voice and piano, and John teaches guitar—offering lessons that are tailored, encouraging, and designed to help every student grow in confidence and skill.
