Get in the hole and join the club; we are going on an adventure! Club Wormhole welcomes all to join our gang of alt comedians, clowns and weirdos for a night of comedy, art and transcendence! This September, join us as we take Club Wormhole back to basics with some good old fashioned, hard working, salt of the earth, red-nosed Clowns! Stealing routines from clown masters through the ages, hosts The Clowns Lee Kennedy & Laurie Owen will be taking clowns Extremely Seriously! There’ll be bits, gags, business and routines for audiences of all ages. Joining us in the circus ring is a troupe of contemporary clowns, culminating in Chortle’s Comedian’s Comedian of the year, a shooting star of UK comedy, the energetic and absurd; Rob Copland! We are delighted to bring him to Nottingham, because next year we won’t have a chance of booking him. Also entering the ring will be returning Wormhole favourite, Sheffield’s silly billy Ollie ‘Leaf’ Yates, and regular audience members Cassie & Sarah leaping over the fourth wall as Dykoanalysis!
